Ann Milhench



Biography

Ann Milhench (born 1962), is a familiar face in Filipino Z-Movies. Famous as a leading lady, usually playing either a beautiful heroine or a kidnap victim. Her statuesque, 6 foot figure and long blonde hair have made her an iconic star in the Philippines, and a cult star in the rest of the world (where the Z-Movies have gained to huge following in recent years). Fellow stars, Richard Harrison and Mike Monty have both written of their insistence to cast Ann in films where Teddy Page was director.  Although Ann has not appeared in a movie since 'Sloane' in 1986, her contribution to the Z-Movie franchise, has confirmed her a place in both Asian, and International cinema. Ann has been married since 1987, and has homes in the Philippines and the States.

Ann has a minor part as Tom's unfaithful wife in this exciting bring-em-back-alive type, rescue adventure!





Fireback, 1983



Fireback (1983)
Ann plays, Diane
Ann stars as Diane, beautiful wife of Jack Kaplan, a weapons expert, who is being held as a POW in Vietnam. Thinking that Jack is dead, Duffy Collins, a ruthless businessman, tries to seduce Diane, but once this fails, decides to kidnap her. Jack is rescued  from captivity to find Diane is not at home. This leads him on a trail of terror to find his wife. Diane is accidentally killed by Duffy whilst trying to escape, and Jack eventually finds and kills Collins.
Fireback has gained a cult following in Britain and the U.S. since its release on VHS, and still packs a heavy punch in the revenge movie genre!

Ann plays, Liza
Anne's most famous role is her portrayal of ex hitwoman, Liza, in this thrilling movie of revenge. Mark Collins has witnessed his daughter murdered by a gang, and after killing them, is forced to carry on killing by the sinister drugs baron, Bill, who has also kidnapped his wife. Liza has also been forced to help Mark in this mission of destruction. Liza's own son has also been kidnapped by Bill's men, and she is under the same instructions as Mark. Together they do what they must, until Liza is shot dead by Bill's son. Before she dies, she tells Collins what she knows. This information leads to Mark finally killing Bill.

Anne takes on a more villainous role as one of Honey Humps drones, in this tale of 2 anti-terrorist agents assigned to free a busload of American schoolchildren in the Philippines who are taken hostage by terrorists.





Zuma, 1985

Ann plays, Minister's Secretary
Ann plays a cameo part as the minister's secretary in this classic tale of the supernatural.
This film is peculiar to western audiences, but is based on a popular comic hero of the Philippines, and has since gathered a cult following. 




Sloane, 1986

Ann plays, Janice Thursby
Ann's final role to date. She plays Janice Thursby, who is kidnapped at the start of the film and held by a brutal drugs cartel. Sloane, an ex detective and former boyfriend of Janice, travels to the Philippines to find her and unravel the mystery, which includes doing battle with pygmy cannibals, during an all-action finale!
The film, although panned by critics has since become a cult classic.
